Is Tanza B an i-Size car seat?
Yes, the car seat is approved following the EU R129/04 safety standards. It's compatible with all i-Size seating positions and has been proven safe in both front- and side-impact crash tests. The belt installation offers flexible, daily use without compromising on safety.
Can I install the Tanza B in a rearward-facing position?
No, the Tanza B can only be used in a forward-facing position.
Can I install the car seat in the front passenger seat?
Baby and toddler car seats can also be installed in the front passenger seat, as long as there is no frontal airbag. Alternatively, the frontal airbag can be disabled. For car seats for larger children (15 months up to 12 years), we advise positioning the passenger seat as far back as possible when there’s an airbag present.
How long can I use the Tanza B car seat?
The Tanza B is designed for children aged approximately 3.5 up to 12 years old (100 – 150 cm), so more than eight years.
When do I have to switch from a baby/toddler seat (up to 105 cm/4 years. Group 0+/1) to a booster seat (from 100 cm/3.5 years. Group 2/3)?
For the safety of your child, we advise you to use a baby/ toddler car seat (group 0+/1) for as long as possible. Switch to a booster seat (group 2/3) when your child has reached the maximum weight limit or when their shoulders touch the headrest in its highest position. As long as their head is fully supported by the car seat, we advise you not to switch. This will ensure the best protection for your child.
Is the Tanza B adjustable in height?
Yes, the headrest can be adjusted to one of 10 different heights, ranging from 53 up to 72 cm. This is measured on the inside, from the seat up to the top of the headrest.
What is the maximum child height of the Tanza B?
We advise using Tanza B from 100 up to 150 cm (approx. 3.5 – 12 years). The headrest is adjustable and grows with your child.
Can I fold the Tanza B?
Yes, Tanza B is foldable, making it easy to store. It folds down to a package of the following dimensions: 45x60x28 cm.
How do I fold the Tanza B?
At the back of the seat, you’ll find a light grey handle that you use to fold the seat.
I dropped my car seat on the floor. Do I need to replace it now?
No, this is not necessary unless you drop the car seat from a great height. When a car seat drops from a low height, this is not comparable to a (serious) crash, and it will not have to be replaced. If you have any doubts, please reach out to our consumer care team.
