• FAQ
Is Mica 360 Plus an i-Size compliant car seat?

Yes, it fully meets the EU R129/04 safety standards, – it fits any ISOFIX-equipped car, is compatible with all i-Size seating positions, and has been proven safe in both front- and side-impact crashes. Mica 360 Plus is built for safer, easier travel.

What makes Mica 360 Plus unique?

Mica 360 Plus features a built-in ISOFIX base, meaning there’s no need to buy one separately. The base allows the seat to rotate 360° and turn toward you for effortless access—no more awkward bending. ClimaFlow ventilation keeps your child cool and comfortable all year round, while five recline positions ensure superior sleep comfort. Safe, comfortable, and stress-free—parenting, simplified.

From and to what age can I use Mica 360 Plus?

Mica 360 Plus fits children from 3 months (61 cm) to 4 years (105 cm). For safety, always ensure the seat is undamaged and properly adjusted to your child’s size, age, and needs.

Is a Newborn inlay included with the Mica 360 Plus?

No, a Newborn inlay is not included with the Mica 360 Plus, and it is not available as a separate accessory. The Mica 360 Plus is suitable for use from 61 cm (approximately 3 months) up to 105 cm (around 4 years).

What is the maximum allowed child weight for the Mica 360 Plus?

The maximum allowed child weight is 20 kg, which corresponds to approximately 4 years of age and 105 cm in height.

What are the different age stages that apply to this car seat?

  - From 1 – 4 years (61 – 105 cm/20 kg), in the safest rearward-facing position - From 15 months – 4 years (76 – 105 cm/20 kg) in forward-facing position

When do I need to switch to the forward-facing position?

At Maxi-Cosi, we recommend keeping your child rearward-facing for as long as possible, up to 4 years old (105 cm/20 kg), as research shows this is the safest way to travel. However, if you prefer, you can switch forward-facing from 15 months (76 cm).

How tight should I fasten the safety harness system?

To fasten the harness correctly, ensure your child is securely seated. Pull the adjuster strap until the harness fits snugly against your child’s body — no more than one finger should fit between the harness and your child.

How do I know if the car seat base is safe and correctly installed in my car?

The base is securely installed when you see green indicators on both ISOFIX connectors, the support leg, and the locked rotating base. You’ll also hear a clear clicking sound for extra reassurance.

Is it safe if the car seat base moves slightly when I shake it?

Yes, the seat and its base are safe if all indicators are green, even if the base moves slightly. Ensure all green indicators are visible for proper installation.

How do I operate the rotation function?

When the seat is in the driving position, you can unlock the rotation using one of the handles on either side of the base. When the seat is in the lateral position (facing the door), you can rotate it easily with one hand, without using a handle.

Can I rotate the car seat in any position?

Yes, you can easily and safely rotate the seat in any position, from fully upright to fully reclined.

What is G-CELL Side Impact Protection?

G-CELL technology is built into the side panels and headrest, absorbing impact forces and redirecting them away from your child. This ensures better protection for your child, especially for their shoulders, head, and neck.

What is the G-CELL Bumper and how does it work?

Mica 360 Plus comes with a slide-on G-CELL Bumper that enhances protection on the window side. Simply attach it to the exterior of the G-CELL panel for even greater side-impact force absorption. One bumper is included and can be easily switched from left to right, ensuring flexible protection wherever you need it.

  What does Eco Care mean?

All our car seats are made with sustainable, 100% recycled Eco Care fabrics. They offer the same soft, breathable quality you expect from Maxi-Cosi while using 75% less energy, 85% less water, and cutting CO2 emissions by 75% for a more sustainable choice.
