Set of 2 Anti-colic PPSU Bottles – 160 ml
Part of the Precious Feeding collection — where innovative design leads to feeding with confidence.
This Set of 2 Anti-colic PPSU Bottles (160 ml) was created for one reason: to make every feeding moment as simple and straightforward as possible. And this set of two means you can feed with one and have the other ready and waiting — feeds can’t always wait for the steriliser.
Our InnoVent™ anti-colic system keeps bubbles out of the milk, so your baby swallows less air. That means smoother, calmer feeds, while pure materials bring peace of mind to every feeding moment with your baby.
PPSU is a premium material. Light in your hand, yet strong enough to handle daily feeds and repeated sterilisation without wear.
This is innovation, bottled.

Ease of use
These bottles fully open at both ends for fast, thorough cleaning with no hard-to-reach corners. Self-sterilise in the microwave and they're leak-free when reassembled. Dishwasher safe for everyday ease.
Comfort
Enjoy smooth feeding morning, noon and night thanks to InnoVent™, an anti-colic valve at the base of the bottle that keeps bubbles out of the milk, so your baby swallows less air. This helps reduce colic, gas, and discomfort. The fitted teats let your baby control the flow at their own pace from day one – meaning feeding feels more natural.
Age Range
Our Anti-colic PPSU Bottles (160 ml) are fitted with size 1 teats, making them suitable from birth — for a natural flow your baby can control at their own pace.
Materials & safety
Made from premium PPSU for a safe, pure feeding experience. PPSU is lightweight, durable, and heat resistant, making it ideal for withstanding repeated sterilisations. With a clean, minimal design these bottles look as good as they feel to use.

FAQs
What age are these baby bottles suitable for?
They're designed for babies from birth and up — ideal for helping babies control the flow and get a more natural feeding experience.
What material are the bottles made from?
They're made from high-quality PPSU material.
What is PPSU and why is it considered a high-performance material?
PPSU (Polyphenylsulfone) is a high-performance material widely used in demanding applications, including medical devices and hospital environments.
Compared with standard polypropylene (PP), PPSU offers significantly higher heat resistance, greater durability, and improved long-term performance. It maintains its shape and appearance over time and withstands repeated sterilisation cycles exceptionally well.
Why are the PPSU bottles slightly yellow?
The natural colour of PPSU is a light amber or honey tone. The slight amber colour is a natural characteristic of the material and is often recognised as a sign of a high-performance polymer.
The colour does not affect the safety, purity or performance of the bottle. In fact, it reflects one of the key characteristics that makes PPSU a premium material choice.
Are the bottles safe for my baby?
Yes. All materials are food-grade, BPA-free, and comply with safety regulations.
Can I use these bottles for breast milk and formula?
Yes — they’re suitable for both breast milk and formula feeding.
Are these bottles compatible with breast pumps?
Breast milk expressed using your breast pump can be transferred directly into the bottles, making feeding simple and convenient. But it is not designed to fit directly onto a breast pump.
How do I assemble the bottles correctly?
When assembling the bottles, make sure the triangle markers on the bottle body and the base are aligned before tightening. Correct alignment helps the bottle function as intended and supports the anti-colic system.
Why do I need to press the InnoVent™ anti-colic valve before feeding?
Before each feed, gently massage or press the tip of the InnoVent™ anti-colic valve to ensure the valve slit is open. This helps the anti-colic vent work properly and promotes a smooth milk flow during feeding.
What should I do if the milk isn't flowing from the bottle?
If the milk isn't flowing properly, first check that the silicone InnoVent™ anti-colic valve slit is open by gently massaging or pressing the tip of the InnoVent™ anti-colic valve before feeding. Also check that the teat is not blocked or damaged.
If the flow is still too slow, your baby may be ready for the next teat flow size, especially if using thicker milk or as your baby grows. The recommended age ranges (e.g. 0m+, 3m+, 6m+) are guidelines only — every baby feeds differently, so always choose the teat flow that best matches your baby's feeding pace and needs.
Can I replace the InnoVent™ anti-colic valve if it becomes damaged or worn?
Yes. If the InnoVent™ anti-colic valve becomes damaged, worn, or lost, it can be replaced. Always use a genuine Maxi-Cosi replacement valve to ensure the bottle continues to function correctly and safely. Replace the valve immediately if you notice any signs of damage or deterioration.
How do I clean and sterilise the bottles?
Clean them with warm soapy water or on the top rack of your dishwasher. They self-sterilise in the microwave and are also safe for steam sterilisers and boiling.
How does the self-sterilisation function work?
To self-sterilise the bottles, first wash and disassemble all parts. Add 30 ml of water to the bottle base, then place the teat and screw ring inside the bottle before loosely assembling it. Microwave at 800–1000 W for 3 minutes. Allow it to cool for at least 10 minutes, then carefully discard any remaining water and reassemble the bottle before use. Never self-sterilise the bottle without water.
Are these bottles microwave safe?
Microwave ovens are not recommended to warm babies’ bottles as temperature gaps between the bottle surface and milk can be large. However, if you still want to use the microwave, place the bottle open in the microwave without teat and screw cap. Before feeding your baby, mix gently so the temperature is even throughout. And always check the temperature before feeding.
What teat flow options are available?
Maxi-Cosi offers a range of teat flow rates to suit your baby's feeding needs and stage of development:
Size 1 (Slow Flow) – suitable from birth
Size 2 (Medium Flow) – suitable from around 3 months
Size 3 (Fast Flow) – suitable from around 6 months
Y-Cut (Thick Liquids) – suitable from around 6 months for thicker liquids, such as thicker formulas or cereals
How often should I replace the teat?
Replace the teat approximately every 2 months, or sooner if you notice wear or damage.
Do the bottles help reduce colic or gas?
The unique silicone InnoVent™ anti-colic valve in the base of each bottle features three air channels that allow air to enter through a one-way system. The valve lets air into the bottle while preventing leaks. When the bottle is tilted during feeding, air enters above the milk level, helping to keep air separate from the milk — so your baby swallows less air. This helps to reduce gas, spit up and discomfort.
Can I take these bottles on the go?
Yes — they're leak-proof when properly assembled, with a secure cap for travel.
Is the bottle recyclable?
The packaging and some of the bottle’s materials are recyclable — you'll find details in your local recycling guidelines.
