How does the breathing monitoring work?
See² Pro uses contact-free motion analysis to detect your baby’s natural breathing movements. It gives you continuous visibility in the app, but it is not a medical device and does not provide medical-grade alerts.
What does CryAssist actually do?
CryAssist analyses your baby’s cry and provides immediate insight into what the cry might mean such as hunger, discomfort, fatigue, or fussiness based on AI trained on real babies’ cries.
Do I need a subscription for CryAssist?
You get 3 months free. After that, you can choose to continue with a subscription for ongoing access to cry analysis history and personalised insights.
Can I use See² Pro without the app?
Yes. You can use the parent unit alone or use the Connected Home app (or both). This gives you flexibility in your daily routine.
Is installation difficult?
Not at all. Setup takes just a few minutes through the app. You can place the camera on a shelf, mount it on a wall, or use the optional floor stand.
Does See² Pro work in the dark?
Yes. It features 2K video and colour night vision, so you can see your baby clearly during the night without disturbing their sleep.
From what age can I use See² Pro?
See² Pro is designed from the very first newborn nights through toddlerhood supporting you with insights as your baby grows and their sleep patterns evolve.
Do I need Wi-Fi for See² Pro to work?
The parent unit uses a secure FHSS connection that works without Wi-Fi. The app features (2K video, sleep analytics) require Wi-Fi.
Is the video feed secure?
Yes. The parent unit uses FHSS technology, and the app uses encrypted connections to ensure your data and video feed remain private.
Does See² Pro require any contact sensors or wearables?
No. All features, including breathing tracking, are contact-free and require nothing on the baby.
Can more than one person monitor the baby?
Yes. You can share access through the Connected Home app with trusted caregivers, partners, or babysitters.
Can I add a second camera while keeping the same parent unit?
Yes. You can pair an additional See² camera with the same parent unit. Just note that the standalone See² camera does not include SleepMonitor or BreathMonitor features (only CryAssist).
