Can I use Pearl 360 Pro in multiple positions in the car?
Pearl 360 Pro can be used in a rearward-facing position (until at least 15 months and up to 4 years old) and in a forward-facing position, up to 4 years old. At Maxi-Cosi, we recommend travelling with your child in a rearward-facing position for as long as possible, as research shows this is the safest way of travelling with children.
From and to what age can I use Pearl 360 Pro?
Pearl 360 Pro can be used from birth (approx. 40 cm) with the newborn inlay (sold separately), all the way up to 4 years old (105 cm). Without the newborn inlay, you can use Pearl 360 Pro from approx. 3 months (up to 61 cm).
What makes Pearl 360 Pro unique?
The Maxi-Cosi Pearl 360 Pro is designed to make parents’ lives easier every day. When used with the FamilyFix 360 Pro slide-out base (sold separately), you can effortlessly rotate and slide your toddler smoothly towards you. Lifting your toddler in and out of the car has never been more comfortable thanks to SlideTech™.
Do I always have to use SlideTech™?
The 360 Pro Family offers full flexibility on how to use Pearl 360 Pro. You use SlideTech™ only when you need to or when you want to use it. Please be aware that SlideTech™ technology only works in combination with our FamilyFix 360 Pro base, sold separately.
How does SlideTech™ work?
SlideTech™ is a new technology we have added to the FamilyFix 360 Pro base (sold separately). The base stays in the car, while the rotating part attached to it slides out, providing more space and a more comfortable car seat installation.
How do I operate SlideTech™?
The FamilyFix 360 Pro base (sold separately) allows you to slide the car seat out by rotating the seat 90 degrees (facing the child towards the door) and pulling it towards you. No additional buttons are needed to activate the sliding function.
I see that the 360 Pro Family is certified by AGR. What does this mean?
AGR (Aktion Gesunder Rücken) is a German independent association of healthcare professionals specialising in back health and ergonomics. They acknowledge that the 360 Pro Family, featuring SlideTech™, offers an ergonomic and back-friendly installation of your toddler in the car. Toddlers quickly become heavier, and thanks to SlideTech™, there is no need to bend into the car to install your toddler and fasten the harness.
Can I rotate the Pearl 360 Pro on the FamilyFix 360 Pro in any position?
Yes, you can easily and safely rotate the seat in any position, including fully upright or fully reclined. Please note that the FamilyFix 360 Pro base is sold separately.
Is the newborn inlay included with the Pearl 360 Pro?
The newborn inlay is sold separately as an accessory. With the newborn inlay, parents can choose whether to use the Pearl 360 Pro from birth or start with a separate baby car seat, such as the Pebble 360 Pro.
What is G-CELL Side Impact Protection?
G-CELL is our side-impact protection system. It is an integrated safety feature that is always active and spreads side-impact forces across the entire car seat structure.
How does G-CELL Side Impact Protection work?
The G-CELL technology structure is built into various parts of the car seat, including the side panels and headrest of a car seat and offers secure coverage for your child’s car seat for side-impact protection in three steps:
1. The precisely engineered panels in the headrest and side wings redirect G-forces
2. The high-quality materials used in our car seats absorb the impact forces
3. Our specially designed geometries guide your child’s head into the most secure zone of the headrest for maximum protection
What does EcoCare mean?
All our car seats are made with sustainable, 100% recycled EcoCare fabrics. You will experience the same soft, comfortable, breathable quality you would expect from Maxi-Cosi, without compromising on durability. Our EcoCare fabrics are produced with 75% less energy, 85% less water and 75% less CO2 emissions throughout the production process. Pearl 360 Pro fabrics contain 41 recycled rPET bottles (500 ml).
