The maximum allowed child weight is 17.5 kg, which corresponds to approximately 4 years of age and 105 cm in height.
What is the easy-in harness?
The 5-point safety harness with easy-in feature makes getting your child in and out their seat simple. When unbuckling the harness, the shoulder pads spring upwards and stay open to make room for easy access.
How tight should I fasten the safety harness system?
To fasten the harness correctly, ensure your child is securely seated. Pull the adjuster strap until the harness fits snugly against your child’s body—no more than one finger should fit between the harness and your child.
Can I rotate the Pearl Slide Pro on the base in any position?
Yes, you can easily and safely rotate the seat in any position, from fully upright to fully reclined. Please be aware that the FamilyFix Slide Pro base is sold separately.
How do I operate the rotation function?
When the seat is in driving position, you can unlock the rotation with the handles on both sides. When the seat is in lateral position, you can simply rotate the seat with one hand without touching the handle.

SLIDETECH®2 is built into the FamilyFix Slide Pro car seat base, letting you rotate and slide your car seat right out of the car. It slides out up to 27 cm, making it easier than ever to lift your child in and out, no backaches or head bangs.
How do I operate SLIDETECH®2?
Paired with the FamilyFix Slide Pro base, SLIDETECH®2 lets you rotate the car seat 90° (facing your child toward you) and slide it up to 27 cm out of the car—easily with one hand and without any extra steps to activate the sliding function.
Do I always have to use the sliding technology?
Use SLIDETECH®2 whenever you need or want to use it. If preferred, you can also use the one-hand rotation function without sliding. Please note: the sliding technology only works in combination with the FamilyFix Slide Pro base.
What's the difference between SLIDETECH® and SLIDETECH®2?

Pearl Slide Pro comes with a slide-on G-CELL Bumper providing enhanced protection on the window side. Simply slide it onto the exterior of the G-CELL panel to ensure even better side impact force absorption.
